FloydFestPLUS! Registration
Terms and Conditions:
I, the undersigned (hereinafter the Guest) hereby irrevocably & unconditionally
release & hold harmless from liability Ferrum College, its owners, agents, and
other guests (all four groups hereinafter known as Releasees) from any & all
liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any nature
whatsoever whether in law or equity, known or unknown, occurring during, caused
by, relating to, or arising in any way from my participation in FloydFestPLUS!
at Ferum College. I understand that this Release from Liability irrevocably &
unconditionally releases and holds harmless all Releasees from any financial or
other liability for any injury, bodily harm, sickness, illness, or loss of life
that I as a Guest or my family member or friend may suffer and from any economic
harm or loss of property occurring during, caused by, relating to, or arising in
any way out of my participation in FloydFestPLUS! at Ferrum College. I have read
this Release from Liability & understand all of its terms; I have executed it
voluntarily, with full knowledge of its significance, & intend to be legally
bound by it. Children, under the age of 18, with me are my responsibility while
here at FloydFestPLUS! at Ferrum College. My acceptance of this agreement
includes them in coverage of this release form.
Neither party will be liable to the other party resulting from acts of God, war,
calamity, strike, labor disturbance, fire, casualty, physical disability,
illness, earthquake, flood, acts of governmental authorities, extraordinary
weather conditions, or other natural catastrophes, (collectively force majeure),
or any other cause beyond the reasonable control or contemplation of either
party. Each party will take reasonable steps to mitigate the impact of any force
majeure. Releasees hereby waive any claim for damages or compensation resulting
in fire, casualty, or other disturbances. Ferrum College reserves the right to
house FloydFestPLUS! participants in another campus facility due to unforeseen
events making it inadvisable, illegal or impossible to provide the above-noted
facilities/services.
Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellations must be in writing via email or USPS.
2. If requested by June 1, 2013, a full refund will be given, minus a $40.00
handling fee.
3. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after June 1.
